Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first minute. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won the next match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy in a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through her ground and pound techniques, resulting in the TKO second round victory. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of night. She fought her first big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight ended in an majority decision.
