Singer was born on the 26th of November 1986 in Santa Monica California United States of America. Her father Vincenzo Barba is the mother of Valerie Barba. When she was six, she and her family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey. When she arrived in New Jersey, she finished her education at Red Bank Catholic High School. She then attended Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture. As a violinist from the age of 4"Violingirl" was her name. Due to her talent that she went with the title of Violin Girl. She also taught children from within the community playing the violin. She sang Free beginning in 1976 during her audition for American Idol's sixth season at age 19. The show eliminated her after the 16th rank.
