Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca is an actor from Romania. Her debut on screen was through her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. The actress fluently speaks French, German and English. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's most prestigious theatre schools, is theater teacher. At the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors, she was awarded the Best Female Actor Award 2000. She was chosen as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She taught four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marina is an Romanian actor who was born in Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. Her performance in Romanian art-film 4 months, 3 Weeks, as well as 2 Days is remembered as well. The film won her many awards such as an award from the European Film Award Best Actress for the London Film Critics. She starred in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 three weeks and 2 days" (4 3 Weeks, 4 Months And Two Days) which earned her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also earned two additional awards: it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Also, she was as a character in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. She appeared in 2008 as Yasim in Angwar, the BBC five-episode Miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca appeared as Yasim Anwar on Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and also the Romanian film Boogie. The actress later played a significant part in the film Fury where she portrayed an German woman who was named Irma aunt of Emma.
