Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA (S.C.) COUMBIA (S.C.) As part of the investigation into the shooting death of Terrell Sims A man was arrested with being an accessory after the fact of the murder. Columbia Police Department officers had been actively looking for Sims from the beginning of December, but were unable to locate him. They were able to arrest Taylor Wardlaw and charged him with accessory following an incident that involved murder with regard to Sims's death. The police say Eddie Brown (30), was arrested as a suspect in the murder. Sims 26 last seen December. 20 at Ervin Street in Columbia. According to the police, his partner Wardlaw reported Sims missing Dec. 22. The body was found near the creek on Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford, confirmed that the body was the property of Sims. Skip Holbrook, the chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been accused of murder as well having a gun in the accomplice of a violent crime. Sims passed away from numerous gunshot wounds according to the police. Here is the Columbia Police Department's original Tweet seeking help from the public.
